Terms of Service
Last updated: July 12, 2026
1. What Evertrail is
Evertrail (evertrailtravel.jp) is a directory of places and experiences in Okinawa — some bookable through local hosts, others free public spots listed for information. When you book, the contract for the stay or activity is between you and the host; Evertrail is the platform that introduces you and carries your booking request. By using the site you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email — there are no passwords. An account is created automatically when you make your first booking request. Keep your email address accurate; it is how hosts and we reach you. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Booking requests and payment
- A booking request is an offer to the host. The host has 24 hours to confirm or decline; unanswered requests expire automatically and you are notified.
- A booking exists only once the host confirms it.
- Evertrail processes no payments. You pay the host directly at the spot. Prices shown at request time are quotes from the host's listed rates; the host's actual charge governs.
- Provide accurate details and only make requests you intend to honour.
4. Cancellations
- You can cancel a pending or confirmed booking anytime from your account page, and both the host and you receive confirmation.
- Hosts may set a free-cancellation window (a number of days before your date). Cancelling inside that window is flagged to the host as a late cancellation, and the host may contact you about it.
- Since no payment passes through Evertrail, any charge for late cancellation or no-show is a matter between you and the host under the host's stated policy.
- Hosts may decline requests at their discretion, and repeated no-shows or abusive bookings may lead to account suspension.
5. For hosts
- Keep your listing, prices, and cancellation policy accurate and up to date.
- Respond to booking requests within 24 hours and honour confirmed bookings.
- Use guest details only to fulfil the booking, and handle them in line with our Privacy Policy and the APPI.
- Hold the licences, permits, and insurance your activity requires.
- We may edit or remove listings and suspend host access to protect the service and its users.
6. Nature, free spots, and safety
Many places on Evertrail are outdoors: beaches, campsites, trails, snorkel spots. Conditions change — weather, tides, closures, local rules. Information about free public spots is provided as-is and may be outdated. You are responsible for checking current conditions and rules, and you take part in any activity at your own risk.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no false bookings, no scraping or bulk-copying of listings, no interfering with the site's operation, no unlawful use. Listing content (text, photos, curation) belongs to Evertrail or its hosts; you may use it only to plan and book through the service.
8. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by Japanese law, Evertrail is not liable for the acts or omissions of hosts or guests, the accuracy of listing information, or damages arising from activities booked or discovered through the site — except where caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
9. Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, with the Naha District Court as the court of first instance for any dispute. Questions: info@evertrailtours.jp.
